Answer

How do I check my voice messages from my cellular phone?

Most phones come with a voicemail key so all you have to do is push the voicemail button and it will dial straight through to your voicemail. It will then ask for your password. Once you punch in your password, follow the promts. If the phone does not have a voicemail key, call your cell # from your phone, it will then ask your for your password. Follow the promts.

How do I know what my password is?

The first time you call your voice mail it will be (1 area code-your cellular phone #) but you should change this at that time to a new and unique password. Something that you won't forget.

How do I check my voice mail through a residential phone?

Call your cellular #. When you here your greeting enter * to interrupt the greeting and then follow the promts.

How do I know that I have voicemail?

When you receive voicemail your phone should display an envelope on the screen. Beside the envelope there will be a little 'V' beside it. That means you have a new voicemail that has not been checked. If you have not checked your messages and make a call, you will hear a couple of beeps/tones before your call goes through. That is just a reminder that you have some messages.
