About Us
Stewart McCullagh and Calvin Clooten started Global S.C. Communications Inc (Global Communications), an authorized “TELUS” dealer, in October 1996. Together they have grown the company to two locations with over 15 staff. To efficiently manage the growth of the company Stewart utilizes his skills in sales to oversee and inspire the Sales Division of the company, with Calvin taking his Administrative & Marketing skills to provide the smooth day to day operation of the company.
Stewart McCullagh
President
Over 17 years of experience in the Communications industry. Stewart’s knowledge and thirst for challenges led him from being a cellular provider to being a “One Stop Communication” provider – land line communication and 2 way radio communications, completed his vision of one company supplying and supporting total communication requirements.
Calvin Clooten
Secretary/Treasurer
Over 25 years of promoting, marketing and administrative background. Calvin has owned and operated his own companies for over 25 years. He brings a wealth of marketing and managing skills which he imparts to his support staff. Cal’s entrepreneurial skills provide unique background to expanding their company vision.
Darlene McArthur
Manager
Darlene has 11 years with the Company in an administrative capacity. She works with Calvin to assist in the day to day administration of the company. She also has thorough knowledge of the cellular and telecom aspects of the company and assists Stewart with sales when required.
Ghassan Sobh
Sales Manager
Ghassan has been with Global Communications since 2001, and has over 12 years of cellular experience. Starting as a retail sales representative, Ghassan has shifted his focus to overseeing day to day sales since 2008. Ghassan boasts a wide knowledge of Telus wireless products and services in both a retail and corporate capacity, and since 2008 has also added business telecom services to his portfolio. Ghassan includes cellular to business phone sales and services, inventory management, sales staffing, and client relations, as part of his responsibilities at Global Communications.
Mark McCormick
Corporate Sales
Mark has been in sales with Global Communications since 2002. He started in the retail cellular sales and has progressed to the Corporate Sales division. Mark has great knowledge and experience in the mobility industry including wired and wireless Internet, TELUS Optik and Satellite TV, amplifiers for mobile devices and all related devices. His knowledge and experience has increased the Company’s exposure in Communications industry.
Dan Letkeman
Corporate Sales
Dan has been with Global Communications since June 1999. Dan started as a retail sales person and was promoted to the Corporate Division to fully utilize his sales ability. Dan has extensive knowledge of the data and cellular phones, business headsets and GPS Solutions.
